Destin West Rv #25 Towable RV

Overall, it was a great little campground; we have stayed a few times. However, we were disappointed that the Wi-Fi did not really work.

This was our 10th year at Destin West RV Resort and it is our favorite resort in the area. Staff is very attentative to our needs and we feel very safe. Facilities are excellent and convenient to the beach.

Destin West did not disappoint us a second time around. We had a great time at this amazing resort and love the fact that you can use the amenities across the street at the Island Hotel. A group of us booked for the weekend and had a wonderful time. Only thing we would have liked is the community fire pit be lit every night.

We had a nice time during our stay. The location is the attraction to this campground. Cody in the office is great. The older gentleman that works the front desk could be rather salty, even rude. Not really the kind of person who should be the first person you interact with. The landscaping needs work, looks like it’s been neglected for some while. The internet was spotty and definitely needs more boosters. When we left on March 4th, half of the park was empty, so why do the rates rise March 1st? We’d like to stay a few days into March 2025 but won’t pay what you’re asking. Overall it’s a nice place, just needs those few improvements. Thanks, Kay

While the weather was windy, we had a great time watching sunsets, reading, and relaxing. Our site and the whole campground was kept immaculate. The recommendation of Brian Hill as a RV tech worked out great for us. Wonderful vacation!

Super nice team! Located in center of everything. Love the resort pool and beach access.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The whole place was very clean and aesthetically appealing.

We just spent our 6th month-long February there. The grounds and amenities are always well maintained, and the staff are always helpful. Jamie in particular is ready and willing to lend a hand if if you experience an issue with your RV. Multiple restaurants are located across the highway, and Rick's restaurant is immediately next door. The Resort is on Okaloosa Island with Destin nearby to the east and Ft. Walton Beach one bridge away to the west. You have access across the highway to the white sand beach of the Gulf, and access to multiple pools of the Island Resort. There are only 54(?) sites available, so plan well ahead...

We greatly enjoyed our recent stop at Destin West RV! The staff are friendly and courteous. The sites are clean and offer a bit of privacy with beautifully manicured plants. One of our favorite things to do was just to walk around the park and take in the ocean views. We highly recommend Destin West!

We enjoy staying at this rv resort, they keep the green areas and the pool in perfect condition, laundry room and bathroom are very clean. walking distance to the most beautiful beach in FL. This was our third visit, can’t wait for next summer.

25 was a great spot a little noisy next to Hwy. It’s very hard to cross the street unless you use the bridge walk or stop lights. Wish they would add a blinking pedestrian crosswalk very dangerous

Since there had been a storm a couple months before the internet didn’t work very well, because t we understood. Things take time to be fixed. Washer and dryers operated by credit card. Very clean facilities.

The campground was very beautiful and well maintained. Easy access to all the amenities and the staff was very helpful with anything we needed.

This campground is by far our favorite place to visit. The sites are always clean and level. The staff is friendly. The amenities are fantastic and we wish we could've stayed longer.

Absolutely love staying at Destin West RV Resort

The only problem with this site and property is the sides of the pavered site is dirt. When it rains it turns to MUD and then you have a BIG mess. Rocks or gravel around the site would make a GOOD RV Park Excellent!!

Unfortunately the weather was not very good while we were there but we had everything we needed. This location is close to everything. Had lunch at the taco place across the street. They had outside dining which made it easy to social distance. We also got carryout 2 nights. We definitely stay there again. The only downside was they have a community fire pit which was not in operation, I wish they had fire pits on each site.
