Destin West Rv #39 Motorhome

We stayed in spot #39 and WOW! Gorgeous views, right by the pool, and the kids could walk right into the water a few steps from our RV. The grounds were extremely clean and the amenities were amazing. The kids loved that they could go to the Islands Resort and use the pools and the beach. I loved that we were only a short walk to restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

This RV Resort is very nice, wish we could have stayed longer than two nights. We will come back and will recommend to others.

We were on space 39. PERFECT. Best space in the park. Peaceful and serene.

Everything is great here. Especially nice being able to use the gym at the hotel across the street. Very private setting at this site. The plexi glass on the railing at the water should be power washed.

Great Place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Close to eating and recreational areas. All guests seem to have a great time. We've been here several times and will be back again.

We had lot 39 waterfront. The lot and view was beautiful and we enjoyed our visit there. Just wish the weather had been better so the we could have enjoyed it more (rainy,windy and cool)

This is a Very Good RV Park. Site 39 is the Best.

There is just one thing that would make this an Excellent RV Park, That is to put some gravel along the sides of the parking pad. Right now its sand that turns to MUD when it rains.

It was the most beautiful perfect spot when the weather was good. You have a unobstructed views of the bay, watching the boats and birds and dolphins. We had two days of howling 40 mph winds and rain from the north. The bay had huge white cap waves and since you are right on the water you feel the full effect. Use of the facilities at The Island Resort across the street were very nice! Beach access with availability to rent beach umbrella and beach chairs was a plus! Thanks for a wonderful week!

It was a great vacation. I did notice that the grounds/landscaping wasn't as nice as it had been in the past. Otherwise, it was great!

Best site in the Park! Panoramic views of the Choctawhatchee Bay! The site was spotless and very clean on our arrival. Beautiful Palm Trees provided shade on the right side of our Motorhome and lovely bushes with pretty red flowers provided privacy on the left side. Two suggestions for a perfect stay: 1) A stronger booster is needed to receive the Park internet on the right side of the Motorhome and 2) The water pressure needs to be increased at this was insufficient to properly manage our tankless water heater. Otherwise the location of this Park on Okaloosa Island is very convenient and we were able to avoid the extremely heavy traffic in Destin. Would heartily recommend the “Holy Grail” for a wonderful vacation!

the view is spectacular. although the place overall could use some tlc. chairs by the bay all need work and tables. I also asked several times for them to cut 2 trees to have access to bay and no one did. overall we were there for two weeks.also there is a ant problem at least in back units

We had a great stay at Destin West. Site 39 is amazing. We booked it 14 months in advance and it was worth it. Even though our weather was cooler than expected and windy, we enjoyed our stay. The staff are great and everything is clean and friendly.

Destin West, once again, exceeded all our expectations. The location, the staff, the grounds are always 1st class. This is our second time staying at the resort and we can't say enough good things about it. If you're lucky enough to find vacancy there for your trip, grab it. Doesn't matter what site you get. They are all beautiful. But if you're super lucky you will get site #39. You won't be dissapointed.

I finally got Site #39 and it was COLD our entire stay. I'm glad I had the water front, so I could at least enjoy that. The landscape here is beautiful.

Amazing site!

Great place. This resort is very well kept up, manager Jamie does a great job making sure the resort is well kept up at all times. Staff is very friendly. Also great advantages to all close by restaurants and shopping. Great view of the bay area.

We recently camped at the best site on the property. Beautiful spot right on the water! The management is awesome. Everyone is nice and friendly. Pool is small but not usually crowded. The water pressure seems low, but we always deal with it just fine. Love the landscaping, but we noticed there was a bit of trash left from previous campers this time. Biggest issue we had this time was other campers cutting through our site to get to the water and facilities. I don't blame the resort for this since they try to block off areas to avoid this problem. Overall, we had a great vacation here. Will return again for sure!

We stayed in an RV spot and not a condo. Some questions do not apply. Our daughter and son gave this to us for Christmas. We actually changed spots and added days to this. Spot was perfect. Place kept very manicured and clean. Employees were courteous and helpful. Had a great time.

Had a wonderful stay this past week. The RV park was quiet, in great location. We were able to Kayak in the bay; rent a boat next door and had amazing views. This was 2nd trip back and we have already held our same spot for next year.

Wonderful time as always been coming for at least 6 years liv it always request spot 39 love privacy n water view. Would love to see your do something with women bathroom at pool closing off front stall so privacy for all an not someone walking in on you or you walking in on someone and there's room to do it. But love spending the week there sorry waiting so long for next year and can't get in

I was lucky to have this choice site for 17 days having booked it 10 months earlier. It is one of the most private sites on the resort. My Newmar RV looked so great in photos that I took with the palm trees and the Choctawhatchee Bay as a backdrop. The crew helped me get settled. They provided me with a co-axle cable which I needed because mine was too short and helped me with technical issues I had with my audio/video system. I love the new tables that some of the sites have. Their great for my morning coffee and meals. The only downside is when the weather cools the site gets the north wind right off the bay which is quite chilly. I've already booked a short stay at this site for next winter.

Perfect spot right on the water. Nicely separated from your neighbor. Felt like you were all alone.

Most people said they have tried for a year to get this lot - we must just be lucky! Many items are walkable, the restaurant Ricks next door has the best staff (Katie, Michelle & Austin). I'd highly recommend!!

Second time we've stayed here on this one spot. It's perfect for relaxing as it's right on the water and is a private spot.

First visit and loved it! Was worried about rain but with so much to do close by it ended up being great trip! Saw Dolphins, Sting Ray right outside our RV!

A little pricey, but paradise is worth it ! I can’t think of one single bad thing to say about this property. Everything was fabulous !!!!

Waterfront lot was perfect, clean, private and quiet. Very nice RV camping!

It was the best site to stay. We had a beautiful view, feels very private. Easy access to hotel facilities and many restaurants and activities close to the RV resort.
