Another great time at the Destin West RV Resort.

Place was clean, well organized. Friendly staff with great warm welcome.

I really enjoyed the time I my son and I spent there. Would recommended it to others. Staff was helpful and supportive.

Very nice and quiet resort. We loved having access to the bay and the beach. The use of the beach side resort is a major plus. No complaints. Will come back for sure.

Destin West RV resort was a perfect spring break spot for our family. Beautiful sites and the amenities that you get at the Island across the street is like getting 2 resorts for the cost of one. Overall great experience. Would recommend if your staying in Destin in an RV.

Very nice camp ground.

This is a great smaller rv park and is close to the beach. Five or ten minute walk depending on if you want to risk walking across a busy four lane highway. Nice pool and great spots. Very friendly campers.

Very pleasant find, located across the street from the beach. They team up with the hotel in front of the beach, and you can use their pool and other amenities. Pricing is a tad high, but it’s well worth it.

We had a great time. The place is always kept spotless and the staff is wonderful.

As the most expensive stop on our 2 month journey, we expected a lot! Destin West RV resort is a beautiful park. View over the bay was gorgeous. Pool was great and location of bathrooms/showers was good. Our site could have been cleaner as there were zip ties on the patio and it was clear previous parties had driven over/through the curb. Absolute best was the proximity of the beach and grotto pool across the street.

Very nice place to stay. Close to beach, pier, Boardwalk with places to eat, And Rick's seafood next door was great ! Walk to sunset cruise next door.

We had a wonderful experience at this location. Very clean and kept. Met lots of nice people. Beautiful weather. Being next to the Bay was a nice experience. You can walk out in the bay for a long ways and the water be about knee-high.

Jamie was always helpful and treated us very kindly. Checked to see if we needed anything. He’s the best worker you have there. Shrubbery beds need improving. And furniture by bay needs to be replaced. Love always coming there. Been coming there since you opened.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at Destin West RV Resort. From the clean well kept park, very private sites, beach access, bay access, and friendly employees our stay couldn’t have been better. We recommend this location and plan to return in the future.

What a great RV resort. We love the grounds and having access to The Island pool and beach. This was our second visit and I am sure we will be back

We booked the day before we arrived and made the reservation over the phone. Customer Service was helpful and friendly both on the phone, during check in, and the rest of the stay. The RV resort is on the bay side but you can walk or park across the street in public parking and go to the beach. It rained a lot and they helped find activities for the kids do...not just the usual arcades. The site was private with flowers blooming on either side of the RV. It was a pull in, back out site with plenty of room. The laundry room was clean. Pool was nice with a view of the bay. Bathrooms in the main office were cleaner than the ones by the pool. A code was required to unlock the bathrooms so that non guests couldn’t use the facilities. You were also able to use amenities of the neighboring hotel.

Our fifth year spending all or part of February there, the Resort is very well maintained with plenty of room between sites, of which there are 54. The Resort sits perpendicular between Route 98 to the south and Okaloosa Bay to the north (the Island runs basically E-W). On the other side of Route 98 is the Island Resort and the white sands of the beach. When you're staying in the RV Resort, you have access to the pools and other amenities of the Island Resort, and direct access to the beach. The RV Resort has its own pool at the north end and adjacent to the Bay. There are two bath houses and one laundry facility, always clean and well maintained. Reservations can be made online via their website / . Book your stay well in advance -- we just left at the end of February and barely found a site there for next February... There are at least four restaurants within walking distance, although you might have to cross Route 98 via the skybridge. The Resort staff with whom we interacted include Will, Barry, Jamie and John, all very helpful. Daytime highs for February are supposed to be in the low- to mid-70s but the weather is the weather.

This park is very well maintained. It can be a hassle to Ross the highway to the beach but the parks affiliation with the Island hotel more than makes up for the slight inconvenience. The facilities are all well maintained and clean. We will definitely be back!

We were a bit surprised at the amount of alcohol being consumed at the pool including one person with a glass bottle in the pool. We understand people wanting to gather at the pool but with all the drinking going on at the pool we felt uncomfortable with our small kids using the pool and left.

Was tight, but doable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant next door is ok, with a gate from the RV resort to the restaurant. Nice separation between sites. Expensive.

I was only able to stay 1 night each way on a trip from Dallas to Tampa. This place was PERFECT! The owners are so helpful and friendly. Clean! Safe! Right next to water. Property very well kept. Worth every penny! I love this place!

We had an amazing time staying at Destin West RV resort. Loved all the amenities - pool, w/d (credit card operated!) plus the access to the beach, pool and gym at the resort across the street. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was immaculate! Will definitely stay again!
