Rv #14 Towable RV

The park is located on an extremely busy highway making access difficult if you are coming from Ft Walton area. The property is very nice with a beautiful view of the bay and an easy walk to the beach (use the bridge...it’s not safe to attempt to cross the highway). On site amenities are limited and the pool is small.
The pads are level pavers, but are very narrow depending upon your RV. Overall a nice place to stay.

This is our third year to stay for vacation and we love it! We already planned out r stay for next year!

Destin West RV Resort was absolutely one of the nicest campgrounds we have camped. The location is great . The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The workers are all very polite and helpful. We will definitely be back in the future... Thank you Destin West for making this a very memorable experience for my grandchildren and us!!

Easy access to the beach and the bay (right in between just a couple minute walk from each. Clean park and very nice pads.

Very clean and updated property. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Amenities were great.

Over all a nice place. Clean and kept up well. Internet is bad, that is you have to keep dining in about once an hour. It’s the system I guess to keep people from turning h on the tv and leaving it. I found in a complete waste as it you have kids they keep having you to resign in. By signing in you have to use the TV and you cell on.

Nice RV park. The sites are well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly. The only issue I had was that they charged me for a vacuum breaker that was missing from the water connection in the site. They just charged my credit card without even contacting me. Not very good business in my book. The site never had this on the hose connection nor did I take it. I emailed them regarding this and got no response. Overall nice place to stay if you disregard the charge but I won't go back.

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and quiet. Located in the middle of everything.

Been staying at Destin West for 10+ years and seems some things are lacking attention this year. No umbrellas at pools and some RV sites (which is a must), water sprayer at pool not working which helps keep water cool. Pool was the hottest it has every been, like a hot tub. Use of sand instead of mulch between camp sites because sand is very sloppy when rains. More grills at the pool and updated chairs and tables along the bay would be great (in poor condition). One of our fav places every year but needs to be maintained a bit better like in past years. With the rising rates each year, expect these simple things to be kept up with. Bathhouse and laundry facilities very well kept in office area.

This place is great.Great staff, very well kept. The Hotel amenities across the street are also great. This was our first time at this resort, we will be back!

The campsites are flat, spacious and beautiful. The heated pool next to the bay is perfect for the kiddos. Having access to the resort across the street is a major plus... great beach access with a cool tiki bar! Wish I could just live here.. ha!

Nice long pads. Very clean. Sits on bayside so a beautiful view. Enjoyed the heated pool. People who run the place are very nice. Would definitely go back.

We love Destin West RV Resort and stay here every year ! Beautiful and clean. Jamie always make sure everyone is comfortable and doing great! He is definitely an asset to the park and actually Jamie just makes the whole park shine! He always is very polite and has a big smile on his face. The landscaping is beautiful here. We will be returning next year !

Great time and experiences

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are beautiful, the campground is pristine clean. The laundry room was great. Our only complaint is one of the men in the office, Cody. He was such a JERK! We found out quick to always deal with Jamie. We will be back and hopefully Cody will have found a job elsewhere.

Very nice RV park. Sites were big, private and well maintained. Beautiful location on the bay with tables and stools to enjoy the view. Nice area for dog walking. Everyone from the staff to guests were very friendly. The beach was amazing, though it is a bit of hike to get there, but well worth it! I would absolutely recommend this park.

Very nice quiet resort, clean, and pleasant.

The experience was nice but,there was alot of beer drinking in the pool by the bay. Several folks doing it.The rules are posted but no one seems to care. My kids were disappointed when looking to play in the pool. Seems like management does not check in the 7p to 10p times. frames.

Beautiful place to stay. We loved the convenience of the pool, laundry, and private walkway to the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

The site was great! It was large enough, clean, and beautiful ! We found the whole resort to be very relaxing and we will be back next year !
