Rv #41 Motorhome

This was our third consecutive year stay. The staff was very polite and responsive. We complained about the restrooms being filthy. The men’s shower by the pool drain was so scummed over the room flooded. They got this cleaned up. The vent in that same shower wasn’t working. Last year wasn’t working. Lights are way too dim.

I had several other residents tell me the upkeep is not keeping up and they are looking for other rental options.

The old floating tiki bar was also an eye sore. Just makes the place look more dumpier.

We have reservations again for next April. I know it’s really difficult now to find employees who are competent and care.

We were first rv in the park when it opened and continued over the years, staying up to 5 months - location exceptional; internet iffy; landscape was beautiful,grown over the years, plants over grown, bed aren't mulched, limbs extend over walkways, bay walkway collapsing

Destin West was the perfect RV Resort. This was our first big trip in our RV. The site was beautiful and very private. So simple to pull right into. The customer service was delightful. The location was great. Our kids stayed at the Destin West condos across the street and it was so great to just walk across the bridge to spend the days at the beach with them. We will definitely be back. We loved walking up in the morning and having coffee looking out at the bay. It was truly perfect

Always awesome. Except the area next to #39, the path that leads to the water desperately needs cleaned up. A lot of the bushes are dieing, and need trimmed. This really hurts the curb appeal.

First rate RV Resort. Sure were well laid out. Pleasant staff. Highly recommend.

This is our 5th yr staying at Destin West. Location is great. We anchor our boat in the bay, wade out daily to fish or head to crab island.
I booked for next year and was informed no return customer discount anymore :(

Had a small issue when we arrived, but the management took care of everything very quickly and were very nice. The manager actually came back to help (he was already home for the day) and JD was amazing. The resort is nice, and the amenities at the hotel are awesome. The worst part is crossing the highway to get to the hotel beach and pool. We would definitely go back again. The staff went above and beyond,

The management was helpful and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was wonderful. Park was very clean and sites were above average. Bushes providing privacy between sites was a great addtion.

Best RV resort in West Destin, everything you need is within walking distance. Best seafood next door at Ricks and Pontoon boat rental Directly next-door for Crab Island, Right on beautiful Bay and then across the street the Beautiful Beach and Access to the island resort in all its pools and swim up bar we will Definitely be back

It was perfect. Very clean and nice people and nice view.

This is a top shelf park. Each slip is fully paved and separated from the adjoining slip with shrubbery. Access to the beach across the street is a big plus as well. You can even get to the restaurant next door via a gate in the fence. The only negative I have is the Wi-Fi. For some reason I was never able to connect. Maybe the problem was on my end. We visited in early March and it rained most of the week. I will certainly be back, but maybe a little later in the year. You definitely want to park as far away from the main road as possible.

Destin West is one of the nicest RV Parks I have stayed at. It is well taken care of, beautiful landscape, amenities that work.

The sites here are upscale with pavers patios and picnic tables with umbrellas. You are surrounded on both sides of your rig with mature foliage creating a natural barrier between you and your neighbor. The bay is beautiful and you are walkable to the Island resort boardwalk shops dining and the beach across the highway. Don’t miss Ricks next door it’s not just an arcade.
We would go back to Destin when we are in this part of the country.

Our site was steps away from the ocean. Nice site pads and roadways. Clean bath house. Great location walking distance to restaurants via over highway pedestrian bridge. Very quiet. Great staff.

We travel in a Class A and don't tow another vehicle, so we needed a location that would allow us to be able to walk to our desired activities. This was the perfect spot! It takes only about 10-15 minutes to walk across the street to the sister hotel and its pools, the beach, and several restaurants. We had a great view of water from our site, and we were close to the on-site pool which is quite nice itself. We were even visited in our campsite by a heron, which was fun and unexpected. The only issue we had is not the fault of the property - the noise from a nearby bar was unpleasant on Saturday night (singer sounded like a angry wounded bird from a distance). The online reservation process was a little confusing at first but everything worked out just fine.

Nothing but good to say about this place. People and place were both fantastic. We will be back!

Park was very clean and well maintained. Nice paved streets and level sites with brick pavers. One issue we had was the hotel across the street put a note on our vehicle for parking in their lot even though we had our RV site tag showing on our dash. If you have dogs beware that they have lots of oleander and ligustrum plants which are poisonous to dogs right at your site.

Very nice facility. Great location. Very convenient and we loved the jets flying overhead.

We had a fantastic stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Park was quiet and family friendly. Level spots. Fantastic view of the bay. Easy to get to the beach and other amenities at the Island.

This was our second stay here and we very much like it. It's very small which is awesome. Close to anything and everything. Only complaint was the cable and wifi didnt work very well and the rules are not enforced. Quiet time some mornings ended before 7am and dogs bark constantly.

Destin West is a very well-kept facility. I appreciate the privacy between the large lots. I could watch the bay activity all day. Jamie helped us with a TV problem.

Destin West RV is wonderful resort. Extremely well maintained. Great heated pool and exceptional WiFi (best wifi of any RV resort).
