Destin West Rv #11 Towable RV

Great stay , but Wi-Fi non-existent

The pool was clean and a good temperature which we appreciated. We had an awesome experience! We would appreciate the limbs being trimmed back as they scratched the windows on our camper. We would also appreciate a designated area to rinse off our camper before we set up. I did not appreciate $2.50 with card only to wash a load of laundry.

Always a great place, from location, to management & always very clean.

The location is great, the RV park is clean and the staff are respectful, but it is an expensive RV park, the bathroom is old, with no AC and capacity for one person, that should be improve

Good stay overall. I would recommend putting up fence/wall for security and road noise.

Awesome location. Walking distance to anything you want to do. The people are very friendly. We will be back. There was one downside that kinda rubbed me wrong, but it was minor. Went to check in and before I could get to the door an employee walked out pointed to a basket with the paperwork in it and walked. Never said a word. Thought it was a bit unprofessional, but like I said it was minor for the time we had.

Sites were on the small side but very nice. The low water pressure was so low that it wouldn’t kick on my tankless water heater....i had to fill my tank and use the water pump to shower. Not friendly to rigs with a rear door...more set up for class A or rigs with doors in the front.

We were very impressed by Destin West RV resort. Very friendly staff that goes above and beyond to make campers feel welcome. Great location and easy access to beach and all that Fort Walton and Destin has to offer. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

great resort staff are friendly and make your stay great the sites are set up perfect and make for a relaxing stay we have been many times and always enjoy it this was our 1st time with our furbaby and had no problems

Small park, but could handle big rigs. Friendly people, clean and we had a great view of the water.

We are Iowans who come down here every year for the winter. We love this RV park. Always clean, close to so many restaurants, attractions and of course those beautiful Florida views. The staff here is the best. Jamie always out does himself with anything you have a question on, or need. We will be back again next winter and can't wait to see all of our Florida friends!

The location is great and the campsites are all clean and offer a little privacy with nice plants. The only thing that we didn’t love were the showers.

It was our first visit. We thought it might be a bit stuffy of a camping environment but we were pleasantly surprised! The camping resort was amazing and located in a great spot. We took advantage of the boat rentals next door and loved Ricks restaurant right through the gate which had amazing seafood!

Love park set-up, pool and access to the Island Resort!

The only bad thing I can say is you might make the washer and dryers coin op in place of card.I also would like to comment on your on site maintenance person Jamie.His help and good nature made our stay even better, hope he is there next year when we return!!

Beautiful big lots. Always maintained and cleaned well. Very helpful with any of your needs. Have access to resort across street on beach side which is absolutely amazing. We stay here several times a year. Love this place.

We had our eyes on staying at Destin West for awhile. We finally decided to take that route and stay there instead of The Island. It was amazing! We still got to enjoy the amenities of The Island, but it was so quiet. Already booked next year!

The RV site was clean and well maintained. Site table with umbrella was in great condition. Umbrella was definitely needed given the Florida sun. I felt the pool water could have been cleaner. Pieces of debris floating and sand on the bottom of pool. Bath houses could have been cleaner. The available use of amenities across the street was nice. Their pool was cooler (temperature) than the one at the RV resort.

Relaxy, enjoyable, fun filled

Great place to stay!! Very clean and the staff are very friendly. Jamey went above and beyond to help get our cable working even though it was not their problem. This is the second time we have stayed and will definitely return!!

Very good to work with

This property is beautifully maintained and conveniently located. Sites are level and private. The staff is over the top. Lots of amenities to choose from or you can just sit back and enjoy the magnificent view of the bay.
