Beautiful place. Just needs a little more upkeep

We love staying at this park, we always meet the nicest people! The staff is nice, the bathrooms by the office are very nice! Love the hotel amenities across the street. Swimming in the bay is a lot of fun, we love getting to explore the wildlife. Overall it’s a great place to stay

Our first stay in January was good. The weather did not cooperate very well, but the resort was nice. Our big concern was crossing the busy highway to get to the beach.
We decided to give it another try in April. The highway was still our only real negative, but the weather was great, the beach and water beautiful, and the resort super clean and friendly. It's a great park to spend a little time at.

We love the park. It’s beautifully maintained and right in the thick of activity. The staff is very nice and helpful. The resort is just the right size and right on the water.

The only “con” is that it is in a very busy area. The traffic makes it a challenge to get to the beach or to drive in and out of the resort depending on the time of day.

Wonderful staff and well kept grounds. Pool was heated and well maintained. Jamie made the trip interesting and fun!

We had a wonderful time at Destin West the facility was very clean and quit. It has all the amenities you would need. We will definitely stay here again.

We are here twice a year and its always a pleasure staying here. Everything is so clean and neat. We loved the resort was all decorated for Christmas ! Special thanks to Jamie Miller , Jamie goes out of his way to make sure the guest are settled in and have everything they need , Jamie is the bomb ! My husband and I think highly of him and this resort.

Really nice place with good spacing between sites. Lots of landscape plants separating the sites to give real privacy. Pool was heated and very clean with it situated right next to the bayside water edge. The high top tables and chairs lining the bayside were great for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Very close to public beach access, lots of restaurants and beach side bars, grocery stores, and FWB general businesses. You can launch your kayak from the park direct into the bay. The grounds were well kept and the constant garbage pickup was a bonus. Dog walking areas were nice and spacious. The only negative was the vast amount of night lights around and in the park. It felt a little like camping in a big parking lot at night but not a deal breaker. We will be back.

We 100% will be back. This rv resort is worth every penny. The sites are super clean, level, and plenty of space. Having all the island amenities made this trip perfect. The workers were helpful! I took my 15 month old son with me to do a bunch of laundry, all the units were in use so I tucked it in the side & was going to go back & do it. A gentleman who works there did it all & folded it for me. I was shocked. The beach is beautiful also! The resort is in a close and convenient location.

Ricks restaurant next door has the best food and you can walk there in 2 minutes. Beach across the street are white and water is pristine. Loved it.
