Wonderful locations. Great amenities and beautiful sites. Will definitely be back.

Everything here was just perfect! the sites look just like the picture! They allow dogs and we saw happy campers out walking their dogs. They provide pet stations for you to cleanup after your dogs and I tell you in the week we were there, Everyone cleaned up after their pets and the grounds were beautiful. You set your trash out and within a very few minutes they had that picked up. Will stay here again

This was our first time staying here. As we are groin go our family this will definitely be somewhere I feel safe to go and stay at and it is so family oriented. So clean, very friendly. It is honestly so convenient staying here with the ocean just across the street.

We had a great time! The staff was wonderful, campground and amenities were clean and well kept. The location was ideal for us. You’re on the bay, the beach is across the street, you have access to the Island resort across the street. Destin is just minutes away, too!

Stayed in a couple different location 2 going down to Destin spent a week at RV West. Great accommodation and had some SMORES. Had to have some bushes next to site trimmed. Scratched my pickup

It was lovely. Staff is nice. Very clean, quiet. Great amenities. Wifi works fine. The pool associated with the rv park across the street is free with your stay and is the best pool I have ever seen!!

Park is very clean. Spaces are large Cement and paver sites. The resort amenities on the white sandy gulf beach across the street are great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice spot with everything you need in walking distance. Very clean and well kept RV park. Heated pool. Right on the bay with access to the hotel across the street to swim in the ocean and enjoy some different pools and fine dining.

Are stay did not start out very well at all. We went into the office 3 days after we arrived to reserve February 2024 and were bluntly told "we're all booked". NO apology or explanation why we, who have been February campers for 3 years, were not given any consideration for 2024. It appears to us that Destin RV Resort is more interested in the money than repeat customers. I've stayed in many fishing resorts where you are given first options for reserving for the next year before it's put on the open market,same goes for several campgrounds we've stayed at repeatedly. Needless to say, we are very disappointed that we were forced out. The only great thing you have going for Destin RV Resort is Jamie. He is the BEST!

Loved the location and how nice it was here. And the staff was awesome and friendly!

I have been to Destin area many times but never in a camper.
I am used to uneven gravel pads.
These sites were perfectly level with in laid brick.
You have the bay on the site and the Gulf across the street.
Jamie and Joe took care of any needs I had which wasn't often because the place is so well maitained.

This Campground is a very nice place to stay.

It was super easy to set up and it wasn't but just a hop, skip, and jump to the beach. We enjoyed ourselves.

Best RV place in Destin. Clean, pet friendly, office staff very helpful. We also went to visit other RV Parks and none got even close to Destin West. Definitely recommend....

This was our first time camping in the Fort Walton/Destin Beach area. We were not disappointed. Ocean was full of green algae on first day. Our grandkids loved the convenience of kayaking in the bay behind the campground. Campground attendants were so helpful parking our travel trailer. Camp facilities were well manicured and clean. It rained a good bit this week around 4:00! Other than the rain we will definitely be back!

We were very pleased with our site, which was close to a "poopie station" as we were camping with our dog, the only downside to that was that we were there from Monday to Saturday and I believe that the bag in the waste can was not changed all week, other than that everything else was wonderful.

This was our first time visiting the Destin area and it was a fantastic experience. The property is in a great location with many restaurants and an adventure park within walking distance. The beach is accessible across the street and it is gorgeous! The only thing that would make it easier is a path to the elevator. Very pleased with our stay and can't wait to return!

Very Nice place, beautiful area, 3 minutes walking for the Beach. Nice heated pool and very good service. Great people around. We'll be back next year.

They have such great amenities by partnering with the Island Hotel across the street. Everyone at Destin West was very friendly and kept the entire property clean. We will definitely stay there again!!!

Had a fantastic stay at Destin West!! From the arrival to the last day the experience was awesome!! Kudos to Jamie helping us get into our spot with no problems!! The Island resort amenities were fantastic!! Everything about Destin was awesome!! We’ll be back next year!!

Very nice campground, loved the bay, family enjoyed fishing from the bay Beach across the street. Liked having access to the pools at the hotel.

Great park! Very clean. Great location. Walking distance to Boardwalk, beach, the bay, go karts, rope course, boat rentals and fishing excursions. Access to several pools. Loved the privacy plants in between the campsites. While we were on vacation, we looked as parks from Destin to Pensacola and this by far was the best!

First time RVing in Florida! Choose this Resort because of closeness to beach! Beautiful landscape and paved sites! The walk to the beach using the pedestrian bridge was a definite plus for beach and the boardwalk! The use of The Island resort was a nice unfortunately the water in Grotto pool was way to cold, we did use hot tub and other pool a couple times! Staff was so friendly!! We rented a pontoon boat from Ricks next door to enjoy the bay and Crab Island, which is a must do! Enjoyed our walks to bay and used the high chairs to enjoy the water views! Highly recommend this resort!

We stayed at Destin West for two weeks in March. Everything about our stay was wonderful - the park, our site, the other campers, the staff (especially the what I would term the operations manager, who was friendly, helpful, and conscientious). Convenience to the beach was also truly enjoyable.
