Everything was awesome! Definitely would recommend

The resort was clean and the side of each lot was okay. We do wish they were a little larger, we had to drive in the sand. Staff was very helpful. The hotel was redoing the large pool, and so we couldn’t use it. Close to things we wanted to do.

Joe at the front office was fantastic! A warms smile greeted you from the moment you walk in! Tons of local information and insight! Place was VERY clean and friendly. Well kept. Central to everything and a short walk to the beach!

Loved Destin West RV. Stayed 6 nights. Park is clean and staff is great. We are already planning on coming back next year. Furniture in common areas by the water could use an upgrade.

This is a beautiful resort conveniently located near the beach plus popular restaurants and attractions.
It is well kept and clean and I love how the bay is just a short walk. My only complaint is the WiFi. It’s terribly slow! We were unable to use it at all most times.

This is our families favorite RV park. Close to white sand beach, great restaurants and other activities. A really great experience for all. The park is meticulously maintained and most sites are separated by beautiful landscaping.

Only thing that was missing was the umbrella for the table

We had a nice spot on the far side of the park. People on site were courteous and quiet but there was a music festival next door that went til 2am for 4 nights in a row. Good access to the hotel on the beach which had a nice workout facility, great tiki bar and easily accessible.

Great location, friendly/helpful owners, clean RV park, full-hookup, heated pool, daily trash pickup at site, across the street from the Gulf, lots of nearby restaurants (next door and across the street); putt-putt golf, ice cream next door. Right on the bay with chairs/tables to have coffee, etc. Quiet, peaceful. Will definitely return! No ice or camp store, which would be helpful. Suggestion: have the daily ice cream truck offer ice. Dock could use repair and stain; fencing could use stain-general upkeep to make the park top-notch.

This was our third stay at Destin West. We love it there. The location is awesome! It is so convenient to Destin and Ft Walton. It is right across from the board walk and right on the bay!

We love staying here because it’s quiet and family oriented. On the bay where you can get in the ocean as well as a pool. Clean bathrooms. The pool was way too hot due to extreme temperatures. Would be good to have some sort of fresh water being added daily. Need MORE umbrellas around pool. 1 is not enough.

This is our second year here, and once again, we had an amazing trip! The sites are always so clean. The grounds are always trimmed well and maintained. We do not have one single complaint. We are coming back next spring and look forward to it!

Was a great experience, decided that morning to stop and stay the night, had availability was convenient late checkin and as always the site was perfect!

Very nice spaces with natural screening for privacy. Great location. Walking distance to the beach, bars and restaurants. Use of hotel amenities was nice. Traffic on main road was heavy but would definitely stay here again.

the place is real nice and the people are good, the rv spaces really should be a little wider, when your slides are out its hard to walk to the patio area without having to walk in the sand even tho Im parked on the very edge on the other side, two to three more feet of pavers would be just right, Dont waste your money at Crabs across the street, its terrible, and we wish you could use the pools at the resort next door, you can across the street but very dangerous crossing the highway.

Great stay. The only challenge - safely getting to the beach. Negotiating use of the crosswalk next door at Destin West Resort would be worth it. Driving is the only option during peak and the lot was full.

Destin is a wonderful place to vacation

Too much noise from the bar next store. There was a band that played all night.

Great location with to notch staffing. Everyone made you feeling like you were old friends. Smore night was awesome.

Love this resort. Small, beautifully maintained and very friendly staff. Right on the water and you can kayak, wade or swim without leaving the property. Already booked next year.

The traffic is insane, but it’s all about location. The Boardwalk across the street has great shops, more beach and great restaurants.

Resort is small, but well maintained. Sites are private. Love that they are all paved and well-landscaped. Pool was excellent. Bathhouse layout is weird - there is the main door with a toilet and then a door off of that with another shower and toilet. Walkable to the boardwalk, Wild Willy's and beach. Ask the office for directions to the walkover so you don't have to fight 4 lanes of traffic. We didn't experience any noise issues. We would definitely return!

Destin RV Resort is a real find! The staff was extremely helpful at check in and getting to the site was a breeze. Space was level, nice sized with plenty of space between neighbors. Would be perfect if site was detailed, especially washing off picnic table and picking up cigar butts from earlier guest. Easy walk across 98 to Islands Hotel and restaurant complex.
The hotel was a little tired looking, if you look close. Pools were inviting but the beach is the draw. Nice sugar sand to enjoy! Plan on bringing your chairs as those set out are rentals, not included with the stay.
Overall, a good way to spend a few days!

great RV destination -excellent staff and amenities

This was our second time staying, and again the facility is awesome. We had friends join us and they loved the place too.

we go every year and its a very nice place and everything works and is well maintained like expected for a higher end place. I want to give a shout out to the maint guy, i didnt get his name but he was Johnny on the spot, i was cooking everyday for 4 camping families and when i put the garbage to the road he was there to get it in minutes, he was always riding around and cleaning

This was a nice rv resort. Unfortunately only able to stay 1 night as was dully booked. First time staying at an RV resort as we had just picked up our RV in Tampa. Although was a bit pricey and not sure how it compared to other surrounding RV resorts as far as price. Don't think that Disney's RV resort is this pricey.

We stayed 4 nights and everything at this camp site was excellent. Everything was clean and kept up nice. people were friendly pool was great everything worked like expected.
