Great location. Need some maintenance on dock and ground lights

We had a great time and the amenities of the resort. They are in a great location for access to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

We brought our 2 kids and dogs to Destin West RV Resort and we had the best time! It's a very convenient location with restaurants just across the street and down the street! As well as lots of activities walking (or biking) distance! We loved it and will definitely be back!

This is the first RV resort we've encountered where there wasn't a designated area to put our enclosed trailer. However, we were fortunate enough that our 40' RV + 20' enclosed trailer fit in the pull-in spot and we were able to leave it hooked up for the week.

The site is a bit tight, wish the table area was a little bigger so we wouldn't keep tripping on the stones. But We had a great time. Hope to be back soon

Sensational location for an RV parking, with several possibilities for fun walking nearby. beach very close. but the common areas of the campsite, such as bathrooms and showers, are terrible. unbelievable for a daily rate of 190USD! The women's shower has no floor!

We stayed for a month in a Class A Motorhome. Site was landscaped and level, no problems with utilities including cable tv. Close to the beach across the street, right beside the Bay. Friendly staff. Publix less than a mile away. We stayed the month of November. While we were there for the month the temperature ranged from a high of 85 degrees to a low of 34 degrees later in the month.

We had a great time. The property was clean and the staff was great.

This was a great trip with children and grandchildren. Close proximity to the beach and use of the resort makes this a great destination.

We loved it here and already booked another week in Sept. Stay on the bay with the beach right across the street. Access to The Island Hotel and amenities was great as well! Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is our 2nd visit to the Destin West RV Resort. We enjoy staying here for a few reasons: the park is clean and the sites are nice, the location right on the bay is really nice, and the ability to use the resort amenities is a big bonus. We will surely be back again!

This Park was the nicest place we stayed at on this trip. Beautiful grounds, Super clean and great office hosts. Thank you for everything. We will be back next year. Thank you guys very accommodating.

This was our first visit to Okaloosa Island & we absolutely loved it. Destin West RV Resort was beautifully landscaped. I loved all the flowering plants that brought birds, dragonflies & butterflies. We appreciated that the campground doesn't discriminate against older RV's. I'm always afraid of that since we have 2 vintage RV's. They were welcoming & the guys we met working there were very nice and helpful. I liked having a laundry facility onsite & the 2 bathhouses. I will say the one by the pool was pretty stuffy on a warm day since there in no AC so I used the other one after the first night showering there. We loved having the dock / boat launch on the bay side. We brought a kayak & it was super easy to get in and out of the water there. Since we did not have a car it was nice that John Beasley park is only a 10 minute walk to go snorkel their artificial reef. Also nice to have restaurants close by when we didn't want to cook. All around a great experience & we'll definitely be back. Would love to snowbird here for a month.

Resort-clean&comfortable. Little narrow to pull in/back out with big coach. Was very disappointed with access to beach across the street even with wrist band. Destin West Resort wouldn't allow us beach access; The Island would not let us put up our umbrella after we had been sitting in the sun for hours.

Superb location as we could walk everywhere. Very clean well managed rv park. Enjoyed the beach a lot but hope that management and Destin West Hotel management come to terms again so rv ers can enjoy the lazy River etc next door once again soon as we could not.

It is a great place for a family vacation! There is a lot of different things to do for all ages and plenty of restaurants.

Location doesn’t get much better than this. Located steps from the bay with a small beach and dock to launch SUPs and kayaks, which was perfect for us. The gulf-facing beach is directly across the street and a very easy walk. Next door, you’ll find good food and pontoon boat rental at Rick’s. Mini golf and arcade games are on the other side of the park. Great place for families! Highly recommend this spot.

Campsite was perfect.., Well kept..staff was wonderful... Will return this winter and late spring...

The stay was ok except your 30 amp breaker is worn out.

Excellent place to stay. It was clean, quiet, with professional staff.

Everything was good, no problems except 115 outlet on pole wouldnt work but i didnt report it, so its on me. Very helpful staff will stay again.

We have stayed here a few times and love it!! Love the amenities and the ability to ride our bikes places. The only issue we have is with WiFi. It really needs to be restricted with a password for campers only. It is VERY slow and we can’t even access our Netflix or other streaming apps. Please consider this! Otherwise we love it here!!
